All you need is a little courage
Link belongs to Nintendo. You belongs to you.
"I could cook, if you'd like..." You trailed off, and Midna quickly handed off the pans and the fish, to Link's protest. You laughed and got to work cooking the fish, happy that you could do something for them. You laid the fish onto the pan and held them over the fire, flipping them when the other side looked done. You went over Epona and got some plates and silverware you had seen earlier and placed an equal portion of fish on each plate, then called Link and Midna back to the fire from their conversation by the mouth of the cave. Midna came over, grumbling, but ceased as soon as she saw the well-cooked fish. You handed her a plate and she smirked. "Well well well, here's something you don't see every day! Something not burned!" She said, glancing at Link. You handed Link a plate, and he smiled, seeing you put a bit more (even though it was an accident) on the plate you gave him. You handed out silverware, and you all proceeded to eat. Link tried to break the silence. "So... where'd you learn to cook?" He asked, "This is delicious!" "Oh, um... They taught us how to in home economics." You stated, taking another bite of fish. "You must've aced the class, we haven't eaten this good in ages!" Midna chirped, clearly happy and impressed. You had gotten an A-, but that was pretty good considering the rest of the class got B+ and under. You smiled, and you thought that you and Midna were finally becoming.... acquaintances. In the meantime while you were slowly eating your food, Link was wolfing down his and soon ran out. You laughed. "I can see where the 'Wolf' part comes in!" You joked, and Link laughed. You offered the rest of your food, since you weren't really too hungry anymore, and he smiled and took it. "Thanks~" He said, then plowed into your food as well.
Once everyone had finished, you offered to clean the dishes. "I'll go with you, (your name)! There's these black crows that come out at night and will attack anything they see! C'mon, pleeeaassseee?" He was practically begging, not like you would have said no anyways. "Sure, I don't see why not!" You smiled and gathered up all the silverware and plates, and headed towards the door. Midna had since laid down on her blanket and was softly snoring. You both tip-toed by her to avoid waking her up and making her angry. Once you both were outside, you looked over the edge of the cliffside, and saw that nearby, there was a shallow-looking river nearby. "That looks like a good spot..." You whispered to Link, pointing at the glistening body of water. He nodded, and you both headed down there. He took the plates and silverware from you as you walked down the well-walked trail from the cave to what he called 'Hyrule Field'. He had been smart enough to bring a bag, he placed the items gently into it. He kept glancing at you, and whenever you noticed, he'd look away. Was he... blushing? You shrugged it off and kept your eyes ahead, looking for any signs of danger. Soon, you were at the river. You looked behind you and noticed that Link was moving a little slow, his eyelids lulling. "Are... Are you okay, Link?" You asked, going over to him. He looked up and saw you. "Oh! Hey, (your name)..." He perked up again. "Are you sure your fine with coming with me? You look a little tired..." He quickly protested. "I'm fine!!" You sighed and took the bag from him. "Why don't you go sit by that tree...? You'll be able to relax while I wash the dishes." He didn't protest "If you need help, I'll come running..." He took a seat, his head leaning onto the trunk.
Once you finished washing the dishes, you went over to check on Link. He was still awake, and seemed to have been watching you the whole time. Suddenly, you heard a loud howl and he jolted to his feet. " (your name)... Go back to the cave, now." He growled, staring at... a pack of undead dogs?! "A-Are you sure you'll be fine...?" You timidly asked, backing away slowly. "I'll be fine, just run!" He shouted, fishing around in the bag you placed the dishes into. You did as you were told, thank goodness you took Cross-Country! However, after the white light from behind you, you felt something sink it's teeth into your leg, and you crumpled. You repeatedly kicked and punched the hound until it let go, and backed away. You felt a few warm and salty tears come out of your eyes, but you ignored them and kept your eyes on the dog. You didn't notice Link, now in wolf form, come over to you and stand next to you protectively, growling at the undead canine. You just stared as he ripped it to shreds, and it decomposed in the blink of an eye. He growled, and ran back to the tree and finished off the rest of them. He transformed back into a human and you covered your (eye color) eyes. When you opened them, he was running towards you. When he got to you, he was panting with a few scratches on his face. "What... did I say... about... running over... if you needed help...?" He smiled, and you smiled a small smile back. "Now, about your leg..." You were holding it, and a purplish liquid was surronding the edges. "Oh no..." He looked into your eyes, and you felt your eyelids grow heavy. "(your name)! You've got to stay awake!" He yelled at you, slapping your face. Your eyes quickly shot open. "Oh... Okay..." You said, but you couldn't help it, your eyelids were still lulling closed. He cupped your chin in his hand and gently kissed you. In an instant, you felt wide awake. He broke away, his face looking more of like a tomato. "L-look.... I k-kinda like you... (your name)... So don't die on me now! Got it?!" He said, getting more and more confident. "O-okay..." You said, trying to get to your feet. "Don't move! That will only help the poison spread!" He laid you back down, and picked you up bridal style. He got the bag, and started up the trail back to the cave.

You Belong With Me
"Oh come on!" Link shouted, turning to look at his blonde best friend.
"Yeah, you really suck at this Link." Zelda laughed, taking the controller from Link's hands.
"Shut up, racing games are not my thing..." Link grumbled.
"Still." Zelda laughed restarting the level. "And it's not a racing game..."
"It technically is..." Link grumbled again, hitting her in the shoulder.
"Mhmmm..."
Link narrowed his eyes at her playfully. "At least I don't-"
"NO. SHUT IT."
Link laughed and then his phone went off.
'Message from Malon'
Link reached over Zelda to grab his phone and Zelda rolled her eyes. "Malon?"
"Yup." Link responded, unlocking his

"I… See you later…"
Something about those words sent a chill down the Princess Zelda's back as she looked at the broken shards. Is this really it? Is she really gone for good? she asked herself, taking a step closer to the broken mirror. The longer she stared at the shards, she felt her friend slip from her fingers.
The Princess bent down, picking up a piece, feeling the power drain from it. A tear began to slip from her eye as she examined it, seeing her reflection in the glass. Another tear made a trail down her face as she stood up, drop

Zelda woke up and looked around slowly. She looked down and saw a chain around her wrist which was attached to the wall. She sighed and observed the room some more.
There was blood all over the walls and it was almost pitch black in there. The only source of light she had was a glowing ball of light that lay in front of her, a few yards away.
She looked to her left and then to her right. Her eyes lingered on a small figure in the corner. She squinted her eyes to see who it was she was seeing.
"Hello?" she asked. "Who are you?"
The figure looked up and she saw who it was.
The blue eyed beast.
